After the wonderful series on restoring bitter, battered and barren people, it is a timely event to focus on what is the ultimate aim of restoring these people. This we will call “The Jailbreak Experience”. Our passage today is Genesis 41:41 which reads “And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, “See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.”
A summary of Joseph’s story Genesis 41 makes for interesting reading. Joseph, who was sold into slavery by his brothers, and imprisoned for a lie, was eventually put in charge of all of Egypt by Pharaoh.
