Welcome back to our study on the churches in Revelation. As we continue, we are still listening to what the Spirit has to say as these messages are also for us even though they were written to the churches back then. Today we look at the church of Philadelphia, Revelation 3:7-13.
The church of Philadelphia was the youngest of the seven churches and was located in a center of Greek civilization. Jesus, in describing Himself to the church as holy is reminding them and us of what manner of people we ought to be. How do we measure ourselves as a church? Do we measure ourselves by whether or not we are living by God’s Word?
