This is the conclusion of a four-part series by Pastor Dalkeith Bennett of the Beulah/Spring Ground circuit of Missionary churches in Jamaica. During the series, he examined the significance of the first Easter weekend event, the Death, Burial, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Pastor Bennett uses the theology of four New Testament writers as found in The Epistles. They are Romans (the Apostle Paul), 1 Peter (the Apostle Peter), 1 John (the Apostle John), and the Book of Hebrews.
Today as we conclude our series by examining Easter in the Book of Hebrews. Hebrews 10:14 forms the nucleus of this study. The sacrifice the writer refers to here is the death of Jesus on the cross that fateful Passover weekend. From this passage and the context, we note three important points. Firstly the nature of the sacrifice of Jesus, secondly the beneficiaries of this sacrifice, and thirdly the benefits of this sacrifice.
