For the month of May 2022, we will examine descriptions of God from the Bible that are not often emphasized in worship. Our goal is that by examining these traits of God we will increase our understanding of Him and thereby enhance our worship. The five descriptions we will look at are God as Worker, God as Mother, God as Husband, God as Gardener, and God as Watchman.
Today we conclude our examination with the portrayal of God as Watchman. Proverbs 15:3 states “The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good“. Almighty God, our Creator, sees and knows everything. He knows everything about everything and everybody at the same time. As Creator, God has sovereign rule over everything.
