Recent news out of Ukraine included an allegation that Russia had seized a massive quantity of grain from Ukraine and was now selling that grain to multiple nations. Ukraine first accused Russia of stealing hundreds of thousands of tons of grain in April, contributing to global food shortages mostly caused by the estimated 20 million tons of grain stuck in Ukraine due to Russian blockades. The world scrambles for solutions to the food shortage caused by the war.
Given what is already present, and what may be on the horizon, I am compelled to ask, what does the term “Community of Faith” mean in such times? To help answer that question I suggest we reflect on two passages of scripture, Acts 6:1-7 and 2 Corinthians 8:1-5. Today, we look at the Acts passage.

The written refund request should include the following details pertaining to the transaction: date, donation amount, donor’s name, transaction number, and the nature of the error.
If an error is made, but is not limited to duplication, fraud, technical glitches in making an online donation or if the donor changes their mind, we will honour such requests for refund that are made in writing within thirty (30) days of the date the donation was made.
Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that credit card. We are committed to completing our decision and action within thirty (30) days after receipt of your written request.
Please understand that the decision to refund rests entirely with the Missionary Church Association in Jamaica. We examine each case on its own merit to ensure that genuine errors are properly addressed.
