Today, our meditation comes from the Gospel of John chapter 3:1-5. This is the story of Nicodemus, an influential and wealthy person. As a Pharisee, he would have been exemplary in sticking to rules for righteous living. By human standards, he was a good man. However, though he was an expert practitioner of Judaism, he was worried about his soul and eternal destiny.
