As we continue the series on The Five Solas for October, a month that is celebrated in certain Christian circles as Reformation Month, we now look at “Sola Fide” The Five Solas refer to five doctrines that help to define the Protestant Reformation of the 16th century, and which are still treasured to this day. Sola Fide means “Faith Alone“. It is a reference to the Protestant belief that Salvation is through Faith alone and concerns the Christian doctrine of Justification.
