Reverend Mark Dawes continues the series on “The Incarnation of The Lord Jesus Christ” which started on November 7th.
Jesus’ Incarnation took place about 2,000 years ago. While Jesus lived on the earth He was the God-Man. Jesus was, and remains, fully God and fully man.
Today our meditation comes from John 1:14, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory. The glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth“.
God became a man in order that the glory of God, in its grace and truth, might be displayed to human beings. The glory of the Incarnation is the answer to our broken world and our broken lives. The incarnate Jesus reveals the way of salvation for our souls. Nothing brings God greater glory than when sinners repent of their sins by surrendering their lives to the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, God Incarnate.
