According to the International Labour Organization (ILO), the Global Employment Trend for Youth 2022 report finds that the pandemic has exacerbated the numerous labour market challenges facing those aged between 15 and 24 years who have experienced a much higher percentage loss in employment than adults since early 2020. While this finding may be daunting for many, there are some young persons who are defying the odds and have chosen to start their own businesses to generate much-needed income. I have one such today, Tajari Ellington.
We are grateful for your financial contributions, gifts, donations and in general the support given to our organization. The Missionary Church Association in Jamaica (MCAJ) expects that anyone wishing to donate consider their decision carefully and check the donation amounts during the transaction.
Donations are normally non-refundable, but if you have made an error in making your donation or have changed your mind about contributing to our organization, then contact us in writing at:
Email: mcaj@the -mcaj.org Telephone number: 876-924-1378 Mail: The Treasurer 14 – 16 West Avenue Kingston 8 Jamaica
The written refund request should include the following details pertaining to the transaction: date, donation amount, donor’s name, transaction number, and the nature of the error.
If an error is made, but is not limited to duplication, fraud, technical glitches in making an online donation or if the donor changes their mind, we will honour such requests for refund that are made in writing within thirty (30) days of the date the donation was made.
Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that credit card. We are committed to completing our decision and action within thirty (30) days after receipt of your written request.
Please understand that the decision to refund rests entirely with the Missionary Church Association in Jamaica. We examine each case on its own merit to ensure that genuine errors are properly addressed.
