Good morning. Today we continue the series of meditations from John’s Gospel started last Sunday. Today, we continue our focus on the passage in which Jesus spoke with a Samaritan woman at a well. This is found in John chapter 4, and we focus on verses 5-30. As a woman, she was kept down by society’s prevailing culture. However, Jesus spoke to her to let her know she had value as a person. Jesus is not a captive to culture. Christians must be prepared to publicly reach out to those whom our culture and society generally do not care about. Are you a captive of the culture?
