Today we continue the series, Lessons for Life from The Book of Daniel. Reverend McLean’s purpose for this series is to address issues in the church, society, and our personal lives from the perspective of the scriptures. This is so we can know the mind of God and respond in meaningful ways through repentance and change.
Our topic today is “Testimony of A Converted Heathen King” as we continue to focus on Daniel Chapter 4. Nebuchadnezzar recognized that his experience illustrated the principle that God will humble the proud. “He opposes the proud and gives grace to the humble” (v37). Our lessons today, God is all-powerful an is able to humble the proud and arrogant, God is merciful and God responds to repentance.
